I joined the Mody Lab in 2005 to provide web and programming support for the lab.  I maintain the website, program automation tools, and create simulations.  Since I am an applied mathematics students I try to guide my involvement at the lab to help apply math to biology.  My first assignment in that field was to model simultaneous chemical reactions in the Mathematica analysis program, in hopes of finding a faster alternative to some of the other differential equation programs. Furthering my involvement I also created simulations of the brain’s calcium diffusion using Monte Carlo methods and the Markov chains.

I maintain this website and if you have suggestions, questions, or experience problems then feel free to email or call me. If you have questions about the Journal Club please email Ben Huang. Thank you for visiting my page, I’ll attempt to update it often.
